Obituary for Dionisio "Dennis" Matteazzi
Dennis passed peacefully on March 29, 2017 with his beloved wife of 50 years and 2 daughters by his side. He is survived by his wife, June; son, Mauro (Rhona); daughters, Luana and Lori (Stephen); 5 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members here and abroad in Italy.
Dennis was a dedicated family man as well as a Master French Polisher/Refinisher who was referred to as a Magician in his field. He was a passionate gardener and an avid reader who was also a skilled cook.
Prayers will be said Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church at 9387 Holmes Street, Burnaby where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., Monsignor Rossi celebrant. Entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, B.C. at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully acknowledged to the Heart & Stroke Foundation www.heartandstroke.bc.ca
