Obituary for Andrei Oleh Fedunyk

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrei in North Vancouver, B.C. He is lovingly remembered by his long-time companion, Liz Kaminsky; son, Michael (Kerrie); grandsons, Hayden, Quinn, and Kacey; daughters, Andrea, and Eva; sister, Sophia (Bohdan Trylowsky); nephew, Zenon (Henia; children, Sylvinka, and Tibor); niece, Uliana (Jesse; children, Natalia, Dennis, and Doiron); extended family and many friends.

Andrei, beloved tato, dido, brother, vuyko and friend was born in Poznan, Poland and was predeceased by his parents, Rev. Father Yaroslaw and Natalia Fedunyk. He was a strong supporter of the Ukrainian Catholic Church and community, both in Edmonton and Vancouver, serving in many positions. He enjoyed political conversations, classical music, choral singing, computer jokes, was an avid sports fan and a novice writer publishing "My Brain" as well as an epistle on "The Road Travelled" and his beliefs.

To escape Vancouver's liquid sunshine he loved travelling to Mexico or Hawaii. He was proud of his children and left this world with the knowledge and hope that his impact on all of us was meaningful.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Andrei's memory to Ukrainian Catholic Education Foundation for the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv: c/o Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of New Westminster, 502 - 5th Avenue New Westminster, BC V3L 1S2
