Condolence: What a lovely tribute given by Father David Hughes last night at the prayers. Not only did he speak so graciously about Uncle Tom, but he gave tribute to Aunt Betty and to each of the children: John, Tom, Mary, and James in such a heartwarming way.

I laughed imagining James as a child hopping up into Father's lap. Lovely to hear that Father made breakfast for Uncle Tom and all his guests.

The reception was also beautiful, with tributes, slide presentation and delicious food. Well done. Uncle Tom is SMILING!

May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

Condolence: With many good memories of driving out to UBC with Uncle Tom every morning in the later 1970ties and meeting up later with him for a chocolate donut and tea and cookies at the O'Neils.
