Joan Lloyd
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joan. Joan was predeceased by her parents, Cyril and Agnes Lloyd. After battling many complications following a diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis at the age of 10, Joan was always independent, strong, determined, and very social. She was a member of Women’s Probus Club of Vancouver and an almost 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Before Joan retired she was a licensed Insurance Adjuster. A legacy of her passing will greatly assist UBC in its Rheumatism and Arthritis Research. She will be forever remembered, cherished and deeply missed by her many friends who she considered family. A special life leaves us memories and memories live forever. No service at Joan’s wishes.
