The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kathleen Graham can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Lynn Morgan
Condolence: My deepest sympathies for your loss.

I find it so comforting to know that the pain we experience from sickness and death is not what God wants for us. Seeing his children suffer and die hurts him even more than it hurts us. In God's letter to us, he calls death an enemy.

“The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.”—1 CORINTHIANS 15:26

Jesus coming to earth, dying, and being brought back to life, ensures that death will come to an end. Jehovah God and Jesus Christ would not have paid such a high price for nothing.

“He [God] has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has furnished a guarantee to all men in that he has resurrected him [Jesus] from the dead.”—Acts 17:31

There is a brochure called "When Someone You Love Dies" that I and many others have found very comforting. It explains from the Bible why we suffer and die, and the wonderful hope God gives us. You can read it online at jw.org , under Publications > Books and Brochures.
