Marian Richards passed away peacefully in Vancouver BC on September 15th 2017 at 80 years of age.
Marian is survived by her son Stephen and daughter Wendy (Jeremy), grandchildren Evelyn and Kathy; siblings, Jack, Raymond, Elaine and Barbara of England. She is preceded in death by her sisters Edith and Brenda of England.

Marian was born on November 21st 1936 in Bolton, Lancashire to Marion and Jack Fish. She graduated from secretarial college in Bolton and worked for Dehaviland. After moving to Canada, Marian worked for Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House and Columbia College. Marian was accomplished at painting and enjoyed gardening and Scrabble. She was also an active volunteer at Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House. For the past few years Marian lived at Yaletown House where she enjoyed many activities.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:30pm on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Yaletown House (1099 Cambie Street, Vancouver). In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House, Yaletown House Society 1099 Cambie St. Vancouver, BC, the 411 Seniors Centre Society 704-333 Terminal Ave. Vancouver.
