Condolence: Since I retired from Seaboard life - as it then was - I have not had much contact with Charlie but when I worked at that copmpany I saw him frequently. It was always a pleasure because he usually had something interesting to say. He was affable and humorous but thoughtful and kind. Charlie was not a man to be taken lightly and he was always right! He was an excellent doctor who was well respected in his profession.
I first met Charlie in 1960 when he was appointed a medical director of Fidelity Life along with his patner Dr. Munroe. Unfortunately Dr. Munroe died in the 1980s but Charlie soldiered on helping to underwrite insurance applications until very recently. I sometimes wonder how many thousands he must have inspected over the years?
To Rose and the family I send my condolences. Quite simply, Charlie was a good and kindly man who had the humility that could only come from being an expert in his field. Although they are now long ago I have many happy memories of Charlie that come flooding back as I write this. But my memories are as nothing compared to yours and I do hope that they will be a constant source of joy and inspiration as your present grief fades. My thoughts are with you. God bless.

Condolence: I will always remember Dr. Rally looking at me and saying what are you doing here? and myself saying what are you doing here? We had both worked in the Insurance industry and I dealt with Dr. Rally at my previous employer and when I came to my current company 24 years ago there he was again.
Dr. Rally was a gift to anyone whoever had the pleasure of listening to him. He had endless stories of humor, sadness, reality and stories that made us humble. He was a never ending book of knowledge and for as long as I remember, he had the reputation of " If Dr. Rally says it... it must be right" Whenever we would bring him coffee and he would say I am old I need to retire, I would give him a stern no and we would both smile. Thank you Dr. Rally for all the years you worked with us and for all the wisdom and insight you shared with us. Thank you for always putting a smile on my face with one of your little stories you would share. To Dr. Rally's family, you were his light. To Mrs. Rally, I will always remember the day Dr. Rally and I were having a very deep conversation and he had tears in his eyes as he spoke of his marriage and love for you. Thank you for sharing this wonderful man with all of us.

Condolence: Charlie was one of my clinical teachers in medical school and a great mentor and clinician . He had a great understanding of what was important and what was not and was always respectful, modest to students, patients and colleagues . When I started my practice would often refer my patients to him knowing they would get a thorough assessment and providing me peace of mind that if there was anything wrong Charlie would find it .
Later I would provide holiday coverage for him at the insurance companies when he went on his annual 6 week trips to remote locations that he proudly boasted most tourist would not visit . He had a miserable time with his spinal stenosis but always was in good humour when I joined him at Great West Life .He was a doctor's doctor .

Condolence: For years Dr. Rally was the medical director at our company. He was very knowledgeable and always willing to impart his wisdom to us. He was very gracious, kind and never made us feel as though any question was too inane to answer. With a fantastic sense of humour, he never failed to give a mini medical lesson with a laugh and a good anecdote. We will all miss stories of his travels and his adventures as well as the latest updates on the family. He complained about everyone gathering at his home, but always did it with a gleam in his eye that told us he was so proud and that he loved them. Dr. Rally was truly one of the good ones.
Personally, I had the pleasure of knowing him for 25 years. I will miss him and our coffee ritual.
