Obituary for Rose Katherine Cormier (Zorgo)

Rose Katherine Cormier (Zorgo)
Rose Katherine Cormier
September 29, 1928 – December 9, 2017
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rose, a wonderful Wife, Mother and Friend.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Robert Cormier, his sisters: Florence, Etta and Alice; nieces: Val, Estelle, and Debbie; nephews Ken and Matt; Rose’s children: Barbara, Bruce, Kathy and Sandra; her grandchildren: Jamie, Sabri, Luna, Noah and Mercedez; as well as many other friends and relatives.
Rose was born and raised in Montreal. She first married Alfred Cadorette and raised their four children before leaving for Vancouver, BC with 3 of their children in tow in September of 1976.
Out on the West Coast, she thrived and loved to dance at the German Club on Fraser Street. There, she met the love of her life, her husband Robert. They had a wonderful marriage filled with dancing and travel.
The past few years were spent at the German Canadian Home where she was well loved. She participated in most functions and is well known for Singing and Clapping away to all of her favourite melodies.
She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
We wish to thank all those involved in her care these past few years at the German-Canadian Benevolent Society of BC. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local Alzheimer/Dementia Society.
