Obituary for Lucie Sonolet

Lucie Sonolet
Lucie Sonolet aged 24 years of Vancouver, B.C. left this earth peacefully on Monday April the 3rd at 6:13 a.m.

Survived by her Mother Nicky Pemberton and Father Pierre-Andre Sonolet and Faithful Companion Gordon Henry; Grandparents Mary Pemberton-Prisco and Mario Prisco; Great Auntie Valerie; Aunties Bev, Veronique and Micaela; Uncle Adriano, First Cousins Marie, Alicia and Sylvie; Louise and Gaspar; Emma, Penelope and Marco Giulio as well as many close friends and family members.

Lucie was born in Paris, France on September the 1st 1992.

We who are blessed to know her are honoured and wish to thank God for the precious gift of Lucie.

During her brief stay here, she graced us with her caring and compassionate heart. She brought light and joy to our lives through her gentle nature and amazing sense of humour. She is a free spirit who is still with us.

All we need to do is remember her laugh, her child-like playfulness and her beautiful smile and she will remain with us forever.

Her light is shining on us as she is finally at peace and we take comfort in the knowledge that we will one day be with her again.

The unending and faithful devotion of her parents sustained her through her journey here and she is now in the hands of God who will take care of her forever.

We love you and miss you Lucie. You are forever in our hearts and prayers.

Her mother wrote her a little poem only a short time ago:

Ma Sainte Lucie
You are one with the light
The light is one with you
Fear not ma petite fille
Rest peacefully, safe and calm
For I will be always near to thee
And we shall be so heavenly
In the hands of God
Forever
